celebrating 21 years of sedna consulting group

We are proud to share that Sedna Consulting Group has recently celebrated its 21st anniversary as our team enters its third decade of business. This time has allowed us to build long lasting relationships with many individuals, clients, and partners, and we know the future holds so many more opportunities to continue to foster this strong community.

21 years ago Sedna was created, and today our expert technology consulting, SAP global capability, AI, and staff augmentation teams are still going strong. Studies have shown that the average lifespan of companies listed in Standard & Poor’s 500 has been decreasing over the years; in 1958, the average lifespan was 61 years, and today it is only 18 years. This number decreases in terms of technology companies. In fact, a technology company in Silicon Valley has an average lifespan of only 8-10 years

It is a great achievement for Sedna Consulting Group, as we have now reached more than double that of the average lifespan for technology companies. This longevity is thanks to every one of our hardworking and dedicated employees and our steadfast leadership. However, we also wonder what other factors are believed to go into an increased lifespan for businesses as we reflect on their connection to our own firm.

In this article, we explore some of the factors that have great potential in increasing a business’ lifespan and how our firm demonstrates the resilience to continue pushing forward with a resilient culture and strong values

What Factors Can Increase Business Lifespan?

There are several different elements that can go into how long a business lasts, and they are different for every business, especially across industries. We are going to take a closer look at some of those that are listed by Forbes and Entrepreneur and provide some insight from Sedna in honor of our business anniversary.

1. Adapting to Change

Adapting and evolving are key facets of business longevity, and without embracing them, it can have negative consequences for any business. Industry landscapes are bound to shift as new discoveries and advancements emerge, especially in the technology industry. Client demands are consistently changing, and it is important to be aware of fluctuations in certain trends and needs so that companies can adapt and reevaluate their business plans and focus.

For over two decades, Sedna has adapted to industry trends and client preferences in order to provide the best possible solutions for unique and complex challenges. Most recently, the world of technology was impacted greatly by the rise of artificial intelligence. This evolving form of tech demonstrated great potential for transforming business operations, and we have built a team of AI experts to deliver that potential to our clients. We have adapted our firm to incorporate the latest advancements in AI and are now proud to exist as a reliable and results-driven partner for AI implementations across the public and private sectors.

2. Customer-Centricity

A commitment to client/customer-centricity is a critical aspect of a long-lasting business. This means taking the time and making a strong effort to learn all about your clients and their needs and figuring out tailored solutions to their business issues. It is about making your client the focus of your operations and putting yourself in their shoes to determine how to best provide what they need. Customer-centricity allows for building a foundation of trust and creating strong relationships, which contribute greatly to business success.

At Sedna, the client always comes first. In addition to ensuring the best possible solutions for complex challenges, we enable our entire organization to be structured in such a way that supports a strong client experience. This is done through regular evaluation of the client journey to find any areas that could be improved, including communication strategies, simpler administrative processes, or quick issue resolution. We value an unwavering commitment to providing the best service to our clients, which is consistently reflected in our culture and our work.

3. Social Responsibility

A strong business demonstrates a commitment to people and to social responsibility. These people include everyone that could engage with your company, whether it be employees, customers, or the community that your business is established in. The public interacts more with businesses that reflect their social values, highlighting the importance of social responsibility when it comes to overall business success. A long-lasting business is one that makes a strong impact on the community and society.

Our values for Sedna Consulting Group include a community focus, as we believe that any business should be a force for public good. Over the years, we have built many lasting partnerships that generate a lasting social impact in the community around us. Our team is proud to go above and beyond when it comes to corporate social responsibility, and we are dedicated to the firm belief that collective action leads to more resilient communities. This is mirrored in all of our work as we continue to develop and implement sustainable and responsible technologies.

Celebrating our business’ 21st anniversary is a huge achievement for our team, and we extend it as a celebration of all of the work and services we have provided to our clients and partners. Our business remains strong thanks to this steadfast support and dedication, and we predict only good things for an innovative future.
